Asia is fast becoming the center of the world. China is at the heart of this developement and is at the crest of a tide, a powerful wave of developement. Our travels have taken us across the globe as witness to this fact.
Growing up in the Caribbean and being frustrated with the social confines for developement took us to the USA to further our studies. In 2007 we took an important trip to Ethiopia. Ethiopia is the land were man originated and is also celebrated in the Caribbean for its legacy of resistance to the forces of colonialism. On September 14th, my husband and I were married in Ethiopia.
On this educational and life changing trip we discovered a beautiful land with timeless art and an enduring culture. Ethiopia has alot in common with China, but the contrasts are also quite profound. Our travels represent a wealth of knowledge we can always draw on in work and life. |
