BARBADOS
In April 2006, our group traveled to Barbados, a caribbean island in the West Indies. Click below to view photos and read our

Glenis Holder was born and raised in Barbados. Since graduating from Queens College, a high school in Barbados she has been
drawing from the culture of pageantry and costuming to investigate themes of movement, color and ritual. Glenis studied fine arts
at the prestigious Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City, where she met Adya and Jasmin. Glenis was
a finalist in the Skowhegan Art Residency program review 2003, and is currently developing multimedia projects aimed at celebrating
the female body, by striping away defunct feminist notions and redefining the line of feminine empowerment. Feminism in high heels
and nothing else...
