Alemayehu is Growing Up So Fast

CHINA

Alemayehu means "I see the world through you" in Amharic. We do indeed see the world anew through the eyes of our son. Lester and I are blessed by his presence. Everyday when we hold him and play, we see God in his eyes. He is 8 months now, and growing up in China, far away from most of the people we love. But we are making new friends, and we will keep posting updates, documenting his every move. Happy New Year in September!

ETHIOPIA

In September 2007 Ethiopia rang in the new year acording to their ancient calendar, and we were there to taaking part in all the festivities. We spent a month in that beautiful land, and traveled north, south east and west, with many adventures along the way, including getting married and feeding wild hyenas! BARBADOS
