Glenis has contributed to the development and management of a graphic design department, where a range of responsibilities include publication development, photography, graphic design, web design and marketing to promote New York City Parks.
Conceptualization,
development and design of publications and the management of their
production and output. Producing brochures, invitations and calendars
with the Parks in Print team. Design of advertisements, logos,
letterhead, business cards and promotional products.
Marketing
presentations promoting Partnerships to stakeholders through specialized
package development and distribution, including slide and portfolio
presentations, a web launch for the newly designed web-site, and
custom layouts for marketing strategies.
Photography of parks,
people and events, in order to capture the changing character
of citywide neighborhood parks year round, requiring frequent
site visits and active involvement with the community.
Design
and management of the Partnerships web-site, requiring work with
a team to visualize and re-design the site, and a public launching,
reconstructing a dynamic presence for Partnerships on the web.

Design
and launch of the Interconnex.org web-site, a community space
linking artists together, and the stage for several interactive
projects, aimed at sparking community involvement.
Work
with a group of young artist to develop, promote and construct
a sculpture in public space, designed to address issues in the
community, and to create an outlet to respond to the issues and
move toward solutions.
Promoted
and installed several art shows with artwork ranging from paintings,
drawings, sculpture and costume design, including a two man show
at the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
Directing
and editing of multimedia documentaries, shot in various places
in and around New York City and Barbados designed to spark constructive
community discourse.
